Today we feature a Real Wedding that comes full circle, as we shared this blushing bride’s ‘Say Yes to the Dress’ moment and now we get the pleasure of seeing her in this breathtaking gown on her special day! And we have to admit- she looks GORG! Makenzie and Jacob tied the knot in Walcott, Iowa, where the two went to college and we couldn’t wait to share! Makenzie looked every bit classic and feminine in this pearl organza fit and flare, featuring beaded cap sleeves and a peek-a-boo key-hole back, need we say more?! I mean, did you see that back?! (Swoon!)

Makenzie reflects on the day by telling us her favorite detail from the wedding, was the groom. Okay we are smitten- how cute are these two?!

From the bride:

“Jake and I met in college, I was visiting my best friend from high school and we went out to a party. I wasn’t going to go, but she told me, “You never know you might find your future husband tonight!” So as we were leaving her dorm room I said, “Alright, I’m going to meet him and he’s going to be tall, cute, buff and sweet.” And he is all of those things, most days… He saw me from across the room and turned to his friend and called “dibs” and came up and started to talk to me. We instantly hit it off and from then on visited each other almost weekly and I ended up transferring to his college (Wartburg).”
