Today’s Wedding Wednesday comes to you from across the pond- featuring plenty of cheeky British charm- we can’t help but swoon over this English love! With hills of green and streams of blue setting the scenic surrounds, this perfect pair wed in true style! Overlooking the spectacular River Maine flowing through the Galgorm Estate, Joanne and Andrew celebrated their vows with their closest friends and family. Inspired by their pale pink floral patterned stationery, these two created a perfectly sweet and romantic affair.
Not to mention—their proposal story has us smitten- a weekend trip to London including afternoon tea in the Orangery followed by the proposal in the Kensington Gardens…. Are you dying yet? Too sweet!

From the bride:
“I chose the dress because I took my Mum and Dad with me to see the dress after I had tried it on and my Dad told me I looked like a perfect bride in the dress. I absolutely loved the detailed lace straps on the dress and the beautiful train.”
Joanne and Andrew met in typical Irish style, through a friend of a friend, at a wedding. No drama, low-key and quite fun – just like their wonderful wedding.
“I loved walking up the aisle and seeing all my family and friends. I didn’t feel nervous as soon as I saw them! My friends led the music in the ceremony and it was so special to have people we loved involved throughout our ceremony.”
“We instantly clicked and felt comfortable with each other and the relationship was so relaxed and easy. Andrew told me he loved me for the first time on Valentine’s Day.”
THE PROPOSAL
“Andrew & I went to London for the weekend and he took me for afternoon tea in the Orangery and proposed in Kensington Gardens afterwards. I was taking a photograph of the lake and when I turned round Andrew was on one knee with my beautiful ring.”
FINAL THOUGHTS:
“I loved our wedding day as it was relaxed and full of laughter. We included so many of our family and friends throughout the day and it made it so special and personal to us. My highlight was probably dancing with my favorite people. It was so much fun and our band was so talented. I didn’t want the evening to end and I didn’t leave the dance floor the whole evening!”
