Today’s Wedding Wednesday is seriously something else! Jamie & Brad recently celebrated their one year anniversary, so today we are celebrating with them by sharing their beautiful day. What an ADORABLE couple! These two are too stinking cute. Not only are they so nice & genuine, but they make a gorgeous couple!
We absolutely loved Jamie’s inspiration, a day that was filled with the prettiest of details: lush floral, greeny & twinkling lights! Jamie describes her wedding theme as an “enchanted garden,” couldn’t have said it better, Jamie. Read on to hear about these two love bird’s love story : )
The Experience
What did you love the most about your gown/ the overall experience?
“I loved the fact that the seamstress worked with me to change the back of the dress! The detail and time spent on it were definitely not unnoticed!”
What did you love the most about your tuxedos?
“Classic, no fuss – just like my husband likes : ) ”
Describe your bouquet- why did you choose Jasmine as your florist and the flowers you chose?
“The florist at Jasmine was incredible, she listened to what flowers I liked (basically just showed her pictures – not a florist by any means!) and brought her own creative flare to it – they were beautiful!”
Describe your reception floral and décor:
“Moss, candles, twinkling lights at head table and a mix of flower colors – orange, yellow, pink, green, white, purple!”
What was the best moment of your ceremony?
” ‘And I now pronounce to you for the first time, Mr. and Mrs. Brad and Jamie Puntney!’ “
Their Love Story
How did the two of you meet?
“Met our freshman year of college at a party but didn’t start dating until 4-5 years after we graduated!”
What was your first date/courtship like?
“He took me to a driving range where we quickly learned how awful I am at golf!”
Any humorous stories along the way?
“The truth is – the reason why we met – is because I pinched his butt at a party – he was cute!!!”
What made you fall in love with each other? When did you realize you were in love?
“It’s funny to say, but on our first date we were talking about family and I realized how important it was to him and it really made me think of him in a totally different way : ) ”
How long did you date before being engaged?
“I think it was 1.5 – 2 years!”
Describe the proposal. What was your reaction?
“He proposed to me in Key West when we were on vacation with my Dad’s side of the family. It was perfect – got down on one knee – and then we got to celebrate with the family!”
Let’s Reflect
Overall, how would you say the day went?
“No complaints other than I probably should have drank a little less ; ) Favorite part was walking down the aisle after the ceremony and our first dance.”
What advice would you give other brides?
“Have fun with it – don’t try to make all decisions in one day – and Pinterest, Pinterest, Pinterest!!! Would 100% recommend Jasmine for all services to anyone getting married!”
Congrats Jamie & Brad
We wish you the absolute best! Xoxo
