We fell in love with these High School sweethearts immediately. Their effortless love for each other and life is contagious and we just can’t get enough! From the first date 10 years prior to their stunning “I do”, this sweet couple is proof that good things come to those who wait!
These lovelies tied the knot in December, which let’s face it- we may think that winter is the worst thing that has ever happened to us, but there’s nothing- and I repeat, nothing- more romantic than an elegant winter affair. Between the cold temps, cozy ambiance, and candles galore, you find the most romantic and cozy setting for saying “I do.” You may think it can’t get much more romantic than two adorable high school sweethearts saying “I do”… but these two knocked it out of the park by tying the knot amidst luminous, icy white décor, making their nuptials truly a winter wonderland fairytale. From the bare, icy branches with crystalline droplets, to the white chuppah lusciously draped in fabric and crystal sparkle, trust me when I say, this ceremony is one that will give you goosebumps- and in a good way!
Emilia looked absolutely breathtaking in this exclusive, one-of-a-kind Jasmine ball gown fabricated with layers upon layers of organza and accented with a classic Swarovski crystal encrusted belt to add a touch of sparkle to her overall look. Changing up her look for the reception for a more dramatic appearance, Emilia opted for a black belt accent piece with crystal embellishments paired with a dramatic necklace to tie it all together.
Guests at the reception were treated to décor in shades of black & purple with accents of snowflakes and rose/orchid centerpieces- continuing their icy, romantic winter wonderland ambiance. Emilia surprised her husband with a groom’s cake mingling chocolate, praline and amaretto flavors and decorated with the Chicago Bears surrounded by the Chicago Skyline, a true Chicagoan’s dream cake! Gilbert & us both, we love this city!
Their wedding boasted beloved & unique elements including a candy/sweets table complete with chocolate covered strawberries and pastries galore, a specially designed “Instagram” lounge for the guests to capture additional fun moments, and the ever-so-popular Photobooth!
