SPOTLIGHT on our Jasmine Bride, Gina: August 2013

One of the most popular trends this season relies on the effortless combination of natural elements in casual laid back elegance. We LOVE Country Chic, and a big thank you to Gina for letting us be a part of her big day!

The ceremony site provided the perfect backdrop and set the scene for this Country Chic showcase.  Rows of white guest chairs lined with hydrangea filled mason jars (LOVE) sat surrounded by calm water and the shade of weeping willows. Gina’s bouquet looked like it was picked straight from the garden itself with soft lisianthus, radiant stock blooms, sweet garden roses, spray roses, and various wild flower elements. Nestled within the bouquet were also echeveria succulents, another popular choice for trendy brides. The result was a fun, chic, and simply beautiful bridal bouquet!

What really brought the trend full circle was Gina’s mix of DIY and Jasmine designed centerpieces.

Each table showcased a menagerie of bud vases, each different, but similar in the way of texture and size. The simplicity of the arrangement really let the flowers speak for themselves and showed off their natural beauty. (The goal of every floral designer!) The floral displays were paired with Gina’s own creations – tiered candles atop branded wood slices.

We loved making Gina’s design dreams a reality! The smart mix of Country Chic with a hint of DIY came together to represent one of this season’s most popular floral trends!
