Our creative & talented florist reflects on the day & couple:
“Christina was an absolute pleasure to work with, and we’re so excited we were able to work with her on so many parts of her wedding through Jasmine.
When we met to discuss floral she already had chosen her dress: An ivory tea-length strapless gown with sparkle and a beautiful ruffled skirt, perfect for dancing and having fun. For her bridesmaids she chose short flirty red chiffon dresses to compliment her gown. Based on her dresses alone, I knew they were planning a fabulous evening of dancing and merriment. For flowers she wanted to pop the red with purple to keep it summery since her wedding was in early August. Red roses were a must, and for purple I showed her Irises—which happen to be one of my favorites, and we had a winning combination! We kept her bouquet simple, all white roses made it traditional but also accented it with red anemones and touches of babies breath for added personality and color. For the bridesmaids, red roses were combined with purple irises to create vibrant looking bouquets accented with grey dusty miller. Although there was some rain that afternoon which kept the ceremony indoors, we were still able to use the red pomander balls to decorate her aisle, which dual purposed as centerpieces for the reception. The remaining tables we arranged an assortment of flowers in her colors for an added layer of interest. The bright colors look absolutely stunning against all the warm wood tones at the William Tell.””
Congrats Christina & Richard!
We wish you two a lifetime of love & happiness!
